안영하세요
Hope I spelled that right but I was wondering if anyone could recommend me a GOOD or EXCELLENT dictionary. Something that goes from beginner to intermediate or advanced level words. I have Langenscheidt Pocket Dictionary and I borrowed Standard English-Korean Korean-English Dictionary for foreigners from my library but both have shown that they do not include words I am using or need to learn right now. I am using ganada korean for foreigners textbook and have just finished the writting system and am learning vocab so the words are very basic and they do not even have all of them. I'd prefer a paper dictionary as well or if theres something good like wakan for japanese that cheap or free that'd be good as well. I need something thats got a ton of words but isnt like super expensive because I don't have a lot of money and I start college monday so all my money is gonna go to tuition....please help me and recommend whatever you have found to be great. Thanks |

I would also appreciate a recommendation for a dictionary...
it seems there are no software dictionaries...
I've been using naver, but I don't find it always helps me that much when looking up a korean word...
there are many dictionaries on the web, but when I search for reviews I find many horrible reviews for most of them... |

There is a software dictionary with a 15 day trial period.

| For native English speakers, I'd recommend the Langscheidt Korean-English and English-Korean dictionary. The head-words are written in romanized form followed by the Hangeul form. Then the words are arranged alphabetically (romanized). |
