Maybe this belongs in the product forum, but this thread has everything to do with books and tips, and this forum has been dead for nearly two months so...

I was wondering if there are any reliable ways of getting Korean books outside of Korea. This would be mainly along the lines of any decent websites doing international e-commerce. For example, if one wants Japanese books, there is fujisan.com in America, as well as Amazon.co.jp doing global shipping. YesAsia.com also does worldwide shipping of a fairly good selection of Japanese and Chinese books. Still, I have found no way of getting Korean books outside of Korea.

By Korean books, I mean any book written in Korean and published in Korea for Korean readership. This could be on any subject, fiction or non-fiction. I just know that one of the best ways to increase literary skills is to read real writings in the target language, and while web media go a long way, books are still a great medium for that, targetting a wide range of interests and abilities.

Any ideas? Experiences? Reviews?

To answer my question for the benefit of all, I stumbled across some interesting sites today.

AladdinUS and HanBooks

Both sell Korean books and other Korean items useful to people studying Korean. Both are located in the U.S.A. International shipping is available. HanBooks has an English interface, in case you don't trust your Korean proficiency. Of course, it might help in any case if you're going to be buying Korean books!

Also Korean Book Services in Germany may be useful to European customers, although I am not sure how extensively they differ from the American counterparts.
