| LG Electronics Inc., Korea's top home appliances maker, developed a chip dubbed "FLATRON f Engine" to enhance picture quality in liquid-crystal-display panels. The chip-equipped premium models, scheduled to enter production in May, will feature brighter images, better contrast and more vivid colors, company officials said. |
