Although the sounds are typed out some people may find that saying them might be different from the true correct pronounciation.
Audio could easily prevent this and also prevent people from learning the language incorrectly. |

hehe...im telling ya...to learn how to pronounce the words good...watch korean drama's with english subtitles...if ya live in america it should be a sinch to find.....yeah the words in korean are tricky to pronounce...example...
Asigetsumnida? Do you understand?
(Ah-she-geh-sume-ni-da)?
Yeah...the si (she) is always spelled with out the h so you have to remember that as a rule...if the word has si...its really pronounced she....also the word get is in there....but you dont pronounce the t.....just pronounce as geh....
haha where im going with this is that you dont really need to hear how to pronouce all the words...more aless just learn the rules of pronounciation with syllables...take it from me i have been practicing for a year from scratch with no classes...just me some software and a few books....
Hoped it helped...

I ran into the same problem. I carry around a pocket phrase book but every time I try to pronounce something, it never ends up sounding like it should. Last week I just bought a CD-ROM called the Rosetta Stone. It only gives you a very brief introduction to Korean, but my favorite part about the software is that it you plug in a microphone it will compare your pronunciation to that of a native speaker. Also while I was checking a book yesterday called "your first 100 words in Korean" in this site:
http://www.learn-korean.net/modules.php?name=Amazon&asin=0658011405
The first review recommended
www.langintro.com
This site has audio links that will show the proper pronunciation for Hangeul.
Good Luck. |

| Pronunciation would be aided with the display of the key vocabulary, etc. in hangeul as well. For anyone doing intermediate or advanced lessons, they should be able to read hangeul quite well and will thus be able to figure out how to say the text on this site that much better as a result of being able to read what they are seeing. |

| I totally agree with the fact that this site should provide some audio files.. This way we will know how the word sound like. That will make this site even better.. Yup.. |
