Lotte is one of Korea's most major companies, and they're all over the world. I believe they first started in the food industry... and then it kind of grew. I don't know much about the company except for the fact that it is internationally a huge success... there are several huge lotte markets in the U.S... which are in California, Maryland, Virginia, and Georgia (for the most part).

LOTTE was founded by a Korean guy who was living in Japan, after he became successful in Japanese business he moved his company to Korea where it became even more popular than it was in Japan. From there it hasn't spread much, certainly not all over the world, unless the USA=the world Wink LOTTE in Japan is a hamburger chain and there is a theme park called LOTTE World. Its success is almost exclusively in Korea nowadays.

Maybe it has. I'm only going off what I heard here in Japan and from my Korean friends. It certainly isn't big in Japan anymore, and I can guarantee people in Australia have never heard of it.

Your right Lotte is not as popular in Japan as some may think. But I hear Lotte world is soooo much fun I plan to go next year.

Yep, I live only a couple of blocks away from Lotte World, and the whole family (me, wife, 2 kids) have yearly passes so we can go whenever we want.

Only I dare go on the Gyro Drop and Gyro Swing, though... Cool

Wow, the last time I've been to Lotte World was like 15 years ago! My uncle used to live in a highrise apartment close to there.
