Transliteration is when they give the pronunciation of a word in English. For ex:
Çѱ¹¸» 'Hangook Mahl' Korean Language...'Hangook Mahl' being the transliteration.
Transliteration is good, but if one already knows how to read and is trying to get better and faster, it can be a hindrance. Does anyone know of a Korean English dictionary that does not have transliteration? |
