Hi All,

I would like to suggest to add in basic Korean survival phrases on SHOPPING...

Eg: How to say "Lower, please" when bargaining...
How to say " How much is this?"

I think it's kind of essential as some of us who are going to Korea is going to have problems when buying things from the street markets...

Here you go, I hope this helps you.

Where can I buy .....? --- 어디서 ....를/을 살 수 있을까요?

Where's the nearest ....? --- 제일 가까운 ....가/이 어디 있어요?

I'm just looking --- 그냥 구경하는 거에요

Excuse me --- 여기요

How much is this? --- 이거 얼마에요?

Can you write down the price? --- 가격을 적어 주실래요?

I'd like to buy .... --- .... 있어요? (this is basically asking them if they have it)

Do you have any others? --- 다른 건 없어요?

Can I look at it? --- 보여 주실래요?

I don't like it --- 별로 맘에 안 드네요

Do you accept credit cards? --- 크레디트 카드로 돼요?

Do you accept dollars? --- 달러 받아요?

Do you accept yen? --- 엔 받아요?

Could I have a receipt please? --- 영수증주시겠어요?

Does it have a guarantee? --- 보증서 있는 건가요?

I'd like to get a refund for this, please --- 이것 환불 받으려고 하는데요

The price is too high --- 너무 비싸요

Can you lower the price? --- 좀 깎아 주세요?

Do you have something cheaper? --- 더 싼 것도 있어요?

I'll give you .... --- .... 드릴게요

No more than .... --- .... 이상은 안 돼요

Can I try it on? --- 입어봐도 돼요?

My size is ... --- 제 사이즈는 ....(이)에요

It doesn't fit --- 안 맞아요

As i'm not addicted to shopping, I really don't know exactly what phrases to give you lol. This is about what I can say to do with shopping off the top of my head Wink
