안녕하새오. I'm looking for someone who can teach me one on one Hangeul. I've been studying by myself and it's hard because it's still confusing and I really need someone to teach me the proper way of writing and speaking Hangeul.
This post will notify me through my email so hopefully, someone will respond.

i just want to use 떠나다 for learning purposes.

-> Those are unnatural. first of all, That sentence is about future(5 o'clock), right?
I think you didn't departure yet, because there is 5시에.
but there is '지금'...you know,
'지금' is 'now'. and '5시에' is future.
so, it doesn't make sense.
and '미국에' is also incorrect.
If I translate '미국에', it's gonna be 'in US'
then, that sentence is gonna be 'I'm leaving in US at 5 o'clock'
You think that makes sence? I don't think so.
maybe, 'I'm leaving for US at 5 o'clock' is proper, right
so, '미국으로' is correct.
'난 5시에 미국으로 떠나요' - I'm leaving for US at 5 o'clock
-> we are not sure about your choice to leave at this sentence.
'난 5시에 미국으로 떠날거예요' - I will leave for US at 5o'clock.
-> we can see your volition from '떠날거예요'.

.
.
전 지금 5시에 미국으로 떠난 거예요
-> this sentence is definitely wrong.
'지금' is now
'5시에' is futurue
'떠난거예요' is past.
that sentence has 3 point of times.
더 같아요? - ???
그들은 곧 떠난다
-> they are leaving soon
비행기가 언제 떠나는데요?
-> when the airplane is gonna leave ?

.
and, finally.
'떠나다' is about moving for long distance and 'can't see for long times'
so, you should use that when you move to another country or another city
If you go to another country for your business for 3 days.
'떠나다' is not good. just use '가다(간다)'
actually, you can say '떠나다'. but '간다' is just ok. |
