Yes, you'll need a citizenship number, or you'll need an alien registration number. The Korean government is absolutely insane about controlling foreigners on the internet. I tried signing up for a Korean blog site, and guess what? They needed my alien registration number! Fortunately, I had my alien registration card on hand, but that wasn't the end of it! I got a little notice saying that I couldn't use the site until I faxed a copy of my passport to the administrators, so they could forward it to the Immigration Bureau. Korea claims to be the most internet-connected country on Earth, yet non-Koreans have to go to great lengths to benefit from this.
To the Korean government: please let us have blogs and access Korean online games! It won't significantly degrade your country! |

Yes, as everyone said; you will need a Korean Residents Security Number. "Áֹεî·Ï¹øÈ£"
If you have a Korean friend, you can always ask them if they will make an account on that site for you.
Alot of people won't give their Áֹεî·Ï¹øÈ£ out, as it is their privacy.
Good luck with making an account on there!
Please Note: If anyone is willing to help, then please use the private message (PM) system. Do NOT post your Áֹεî·Ï¹øÈ£ on here, as it is for your own safety.
Regards,
Steve; KkOmA |
