Hi everyone  ,
My real name is Shayma (Shanty is my nickname) and I am from Canada.
I would like to learn Korean because I am planning to visit Seoul hopefully next summer (2009). Can't wait!!!
I think that korean Dramas are amazing, I just love watching them but it would be really amazing if i could understand the language instead of reading english subtitles!
One more thing, I was trying to write my name (Shayma) in korean but there seems to be no letter ''y''. So could anyone help me write my name. I would really appreciate it.

hi,
It's kind of difficult to change your name to Korean like other foreigner's names.
Shayma, ¼ÎÀ̸Ó, »þÀ̸¶... It depends on how your name's pronounced.
Why don't you use your English name under English Characters?
It's not that bad.
And it's good to make a new Korean name as well.
I can recommend you if you want. ^^

i'm korean
i just typed your name in naver.
almost every people use your name »þÀ̸¶ in korean.
even in news ^^ |
