sue, kkoma and koreanlearner:
"mabuti naman po." pleased to meet you guys!
i found my way through this site's introductory articles, but haven't delved that deep yet. currently struggling with the pecularities...
@koreanlearner: may i ask how you got into learning korean? hihihi i used to watch arirang (which is offered by our local cable) back in high school and there was even a segment there "learn how to speak korean". nonstop sitcom was a total hit too among my friends. ahh.. and yeah.. vj soy is cute. :p
cheers,
- niel |

mabuti naman po==>Àß Áö³»°í ÀÖ¾î¿ä
It started when my korean friend gave me a book titled "memoirs of Lady Hyegyong".
I became fascinated with the story of King Youngjo. I also watched non-stop sitcom, Lets speak korean. Hopefully the story of this great king will be dramatized too.

koreanlearner:
i'll give speaking in korean a shot once in a while. =) though the only words i'm familiar at the moment wont get me far in terms of real conversation. you know, basic greetings, counting from one to ten (oh god!)... plus, the korean characters (ideograms??) ups the ante. i tried searching for some posts here for beginners that use the english alphabet for korean words but couldn't find any...
entourage:
well, if you happen to visit someday, try out the street foods! hahahaha you might also notice that 8 out of 10 citizens are into korean soaps.. locally known as "koreanovelas". other than the weather.. everything else remains the same.. conniving politicians, government, lame local shows with lame effects :p and artists with never ending controversies.
cheers,
- niel |

Well, if Im studying because of korean novelas only, then my motivation is weak. What happen when this movies and novelas will cease to exist? So with my motivation?
what a waste of time then. _________________ Àü ·ÐÀ̶ó°í ÇØ¿ä. ¹Ù±â¿À¿¡ »ç´Â Çʸ®ÇÉ»ç¶÷Àä. ¸¸³ª¼ ¹Ý°¡¿ö¿ä. Àü Çѱ¹¾î ½Ç·ÂÀ» Çâ»ó½Ã۱â À§Çؼ °øºÎÇؾ߸¸ ÇØ¿ä. ¿¬½ÀÀ» ÇÏ¸é ¿Ïº®ÇØÁý´Ï´Ù. |
