I am looking for an OCR program for scanning Hangul writing or type. Can anyone suggest something. What I have found are programs targeted to English speaking people with the option, an expensive option, to handle Asian languages.
There must be Korean software that can scan and recognize Hangul characters and export them to word processing software.

You can use Armi"아르미" or Readiris Pro to scan/export OCR. please google.
I'm a programmer in US, some time we can use that kind of software, BUT, in my experience, you have to edit it before export. it was not scan perfectly because of the font. As you know, this program can not scan all of Korean font.
Armi is Korean software, Readiris is multi-language-support sw.
