안녕하세요!
저가 王永安입니다. 저는 필리핀사람입니다. 저는 新친구를 만납니다.
Well, that's all I can say with my limited Korean. 
I'm from the Philippines, you know, the group of islands near Indonesia. I became interested in learning Korean because it looked interesting with the alphabet system and such. 한자 also got me interested in Korean since I already knew the traditional characters being used.
I hope to enjoy my stay here in the forums. Oh, and could anyone please correct my Korean above if anyone has the time. Thanks a bunch! 
P.S. I'm wondering if the use of 한자 is widespread. Thanks again!  |

저는 新친구를 만납니다. what do you mean exactly by saying this? youre going to meet your friend?
if so you can say "나의 친구를 만나고 싶어"
if what you wish to say is "nice to meet you" 처음 뵙겠어요 (initial meeting)
만나서 반가워요 (after the initial meeting)

I'm sorry, it sort of came out in Chinese.
Do you think I can find articles written in mostly 한자?

新 means 'new', but it can't be used as a prefix for a pure Korean 친구.
It is not that you can't create a new word and convey your thought through it but that is not the way we Koreans say.
We use '새' for new, as in 새 친 구 , 새 차, 새 집, 등 등. |
