Ok I had some questions to ask for people that do korean martial arts. I'm very much involved with taekwondo myself and I've done some research on Hapkido/mudokwon etc. but I just wanted to know if there were any other korean martial arts that are out there that are worth lookin up as well. Any one else that wants to post about martial arts is welcome to as well. _________________ Áö¿ÁÀº ºÐ³ë°¡ ¾ø´Ù õÁ¦°¡ ¸ñÀûÁö¸¦ ÀÔ´Ï´Ù |

Sorry for the late answer.
Taekkyun is Korean, Kumdo basically means the way(rule) u should keep when you use swords. (like fencing). So each countries have their Kumdo. Haedong Kumdo, Daehan Kumdo are Korean. |

How about Kuk Sool Won... ive been training in that for 11 years and still continue to here in Korea, it is well worth looking in to.
Also there are some great mma (mixed martial arts) gyms about like Korean Top Team, ive trained there a while, however it is not obviously not traditional |

Taekwondo probably is the most popular cause it's the only Korean martial arts I know. I know another one which I always see in dramas. I dont know the name though. Two people duel wearing big robes and a fencing-like mask. They use a wooden rod as a sword. I thought it was Japanese. I think it's Joseon Sebop.
Taekkyun, from what I've learned, is just like Taekwondo but it has been around longer than Taekwondo. So it's more traditional and ancient. |

| Our master is from Korea and he teaches Taekwondo, Hapkido, Ju Do, Kum Do & Yong Moo Do. There is also Ssirium (sp?), which is like wrestling. |

We study TaeKwonDo and SipPalGi.
SipPalGi is korean kung fu.
the name means 18 weapons.
first weapon is your hand. |
