Can anyone recommend good "learn Korean" software for PDAs, or software or a website to learn the Korean alphabet?

Yeah I can second the above, the "Colloquial" series is generally total shite.

ok.... declan's software is not bad in some ways, but it can serve only as introductory software
the grammar explainations are incomplete, and you will find that if you follow the instructions given, you'll end up using incorrect Korean
there are instances where you are given 2 words with the same definition and never given an explaination as to the difference between these two words
like for example, inside, anne and soge, what's the difference, is there a difference?
Well, there's a big difference and i found this info out through a book

First, let me express my sincere apologies to the Korean language for everyone here being forced to romanize and therefore butcher it. That being said here is the answer to this question.

"anne" (appauling romanization btw) is inside, like inside a house.
"soge" (also badly romanized) is to be immersed in somthing, like sinking in a swimming pool. (both in the middle of the area of the pool and under the water. Think of it as being in the dead center of a 3 demensional space)

and it should actually be more like this.

"an ne" (again badly romanized)
and
"soag ay", or soag ay so

I wish this site had support for actual hangul.

badly romanized again

han guk mal ul shil oh ha ji mahn bay wuh ya hae yo.
OR
한국말을 실어하지만 배워야해요!
