This is not Korean, but Chinese and I think someone here may help find out about it or have tried it.

It is the size of a pistachio and it looks just like the pit of a peach. It has read coloring and it makes you pucker. Tastes sweet, salty, acid and I would think it is a candy. I remember buying it in the many chinese stores in my country of Panama. It's a little box with a plastic bag full of these treats. I need to know what are they called and if I can get them online. Thank you much. Your help is very appreciated Wink

UPDATE! I have found what I'm looking for. Disregard. Thanks

Sounds like the dried sour plums.
You should be able to find them in a Chinese store/ supermarket/ health shop.
We were able to buy them in New Zealand and im sure if I looked hard enough I could find something of similar resemblance here in Korea.
Sorry honey, dont know the name of them though, but they have similar things in Japan too, Umeboshi, which can be dry or moist.
